Eye and orbital CT
CT examination of the eye and orbital area is a method of examining the eye and orbital area by CT. CT scan can provide a high-resolution, slice image and gray-level eye image. It uses X-rays as the energy source to display the tomographic image of the human body. At present CT has become very popular, thus providing an excellent examination method for the diagnosis of ophthalmic diseases. However, due to various reasons, there are still many problems in CT analysis and diagnosis of ocular lesions. Ultrasound is superior to CT in the diagnosis of intraocular diseases, and CT is superior to ultrasound in the diagnosis of orbital lesions. This article discusses some issues in CT diagnosis of orbital lesions, and introduces the basic knowledge of CT related to diagnosis, which is very important for comprehensive analysis of eye CT films.
