Glucose insulin release test

The glucose and insulin release test is performed by the following principle: the use of oral glucose can stimulate islet β cells to cause increased insulin release, which can reflect the functional status of β cells, and therefore has certain value for the diagnosis, typing and guidance of diabetes.
