Glycated serum protein

Glycated serum protein is a non-enzymatic saccharification reaction between serum glucose and albumin and other serum protein N-terminal amino groups to form a polymer ketamine structure. Because plasma proteins, especially albumin, have a short half-life (19 days), it can reflect the more recent effect of diabetes treatment and understand the blood glucose level of diabetes control for 1 to 2 weeks. Glycated serum proteins have been reported to correlate well with GHb.
