Dumping Syndrome
Dumping syndrome means that due to surgery, the pylorus or its normal function is lost after gastrectomy and gastrojejunostomy, and the sudden dumping of food in the stomach to the duodenum or jejunum can cause a series of symptoms. It can occur after any type of gastric surgery. Billroth Ⅱ gastrotomy is more common. Vascular nerve damage caused by esophageal surgery can also cause dumping symptoms.
