Leucorrhea pH
After puberty, due to the stimulation of ovarian sex hormones, mucosal epithelial cells are rich in animal starch, which is transformed into lactic acid by vaginal bacteria, so that the vaginal endocrine is weakly acidic, which can prevent pathogenic bacteria from multiplying in the vagina. It is the self-purifying effect of the vagina. The pH value is often used to indicate the pH during the test, and the pH value is 4.5 in normal cases. The pH value of the leucorrhea rises when it has trichomoniasis or bacterial vaginitis, which can be greater than 5-6.
