Midhepatic lobectomy
Mid-hepatic resection refers to the resection of the central region of the liver, including the right anterior lobe and left inner lobe, retaining the right posterior lobe and left outer lobe. The technique is complicated because it involves pipes in the central part of the upper and lower livers.
