Vaginal biopsy

A vaginal biopsy is a biopsy of the cervix, that is, a small or several pieces of tissue are taken from the vagina for pathological examination to determine the diagnosis. More commonly used in cervical cancer suspicious, or cervical smears have suspicious cancer cells, or suspicious specific inflammation, such as cervical tuberculosis. A vaginal biopsy can confirm the diagnosis and determine the treatment.
