Hand extensor tendon injury

The finger extension system is a complex of tendon and fascia, aponeurosis, and ligament. Its function and structure are far more complicated than that of the flexor tendon system. It is anatomically called dorsal aponeurosis, also known as extensor apparatus ). Only by being familiar with its anatomy and understanding the function of each structure, can it properly repair or rebuild its function when injured.
