Endogenous creatinine clearance
Endogenous creatinine is produced by creatinine metabolism in the body, and the daily production amount is relatively stable. After creatinine is filtered through the glomerulus through blood flow, it is basically not absorbed by renal tubules and is excreted with urine. Under controlled conditions, urine creatinine excretion is fairly stable. It can be used for judging the degree of renal function damage when the kidney removes all the endogenous creatinine in a few milliliters of blood per unit time.
