Serum progesterone

Progesterone is secreted by the corpus luteum cells of the ovary, mainly progesterone (progesterone). After being inactivated into progesterone in the liver, it is excreted through the urine in combination with glucuronic acid. Progestins often produce effects on the basis of estrogen effects.
