Foreign body in the respiratory tract
Respiratory foreign body is a common emergency in otolaryngology. It often occurs when children eat, cry, or fall, or when adults do things with care. When a foreign body enters the respiratory tract, it can cause breathing difficulties and endanger life because the foreign body occupies the airway or the foreign body stimulates the throat and causes throat spasm. Therefore, the mortality of foreign bodies in the respiratory tract is very high, which should attract the attention of the whole society, especially early childhood education and parents.
