Verrucous carcinoma
Verrucous carcinoma was first reported by Ackeman in 1948. It is a hyperkeratinized squamous cell carcinoma. The diagnosis of this disease depends on the clinical, microscopic and biological behavior of the tumor. Tumors grow slowly, initially exophytic wart-like and fungal tumors, and eventually invade deep tissues.
