Estradiol

Estradiol (E2) is mainly produced by ovarian follicles, corpus luteum, and placenta during pregnancy. Examination of estradiol in blood and urine is of certain value in the diagnosis of endocrine and gynecological diseases such as precocious puberty and dysplasia.
