Cheek cancer
Carcinoma of the buccal mucosa is also one of the common oral cancers, ranking second or third among oral cancers. Most are moderately differentiated squamous cell carcinomas, and a few are adenocarcinomas and malignant pleomorphic adenomas. The area of buccal cancer should be between the upper and lower buccal furrows, before the wing mandibular ligament, and include the medial lip mucosa according to UICC regulations.
