Wrist tendon sheath cyst
Wrist tendon sheath cyst is a kind of swelling. It refers to a benign mass containing jelly-like mucus that occurs near the joint capsule or tendon sheath. Tendon sheath cysts are not cancerous and will not spread, although they may expand in size, they will not spread to other parts of the body. Symptoms of wrist tendon sheath cysts are obvious, and there is a slight soreness in the affected area. When the cyst fluid increases, it becomes hard and tender. If the affected area is on the wrist, it will also be accompanied by wrist weakness, discomfort or soreness, radiation pain, and severe cases will also cause patients with certain dysfunction.
