Pain in the trigeminal nerve branch

The clinical manifestations of cavernous sinus meningiomas can be painful in the first or second branch of the trigeminal nerve. Cavernous sinus is a relatively special and complex anatomical area in the skull, which contains important arteries and cranial nerves, making surgery difficult. Broadly speaking, all meningiomas that invade the cavernous sinus fall into this category. Such as medial meningiomas of the sphenoid ridge, saddle nodule meningioma, concave meningiomas of the middle skull.
