Pediatric primary ciliary dyskinesia
Primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD), also known as immobile cilia syndrome, is an autosomal recessive inheritance that causes repeated respiratory infections. Primary cilia dyskinesia includes several types of cilia immobility syndrome, Kartagener syndrome, cilia dyskinesia, and primary cilia disorientation. In 50% of cases of PCD, visceral translocation is associated with Kartagener syndrome.
