Mixed parotid tumor

Mixed parotid tumor or pleomorphic adenoma is a parotid tumor that contains parotid tissue, mucus and cartilage-like tissue, so it is called ldquo; mixed tumor rdquo ;. The mucus and cartilage-like tissues are all transformed from glandular tissues. The outer layer of the tumor is a very thin envelope, which is formed by the deformation of the parotid tissue after compression. It is not a true envelope.
