Recurrent nodular non-purulent panniculitis

This disease, also known as Weber-Christian syndrome, is an idiopathic panniculitis mainly involving the subcutaneous fatty tissue of the trunk and thighs. The main clinical manifestations are recurrent subcutaneous nodules or patchy plaques, accompanied by fever, and some cases may involve internal organs. Regressive fever-type nodular non-purulent panniculitis with multiple systemic damage is called systemic panniculitis; those with only skin lesions without visceral damage are referred to as common panniculitis.
