Personality Disintegration-Realistic Disintegration Syndrome
Depersonalization-derealization syndrome, also known as depersonalization disorder, is a neurotic disorder characterized by the continuous or repeated occurrence of unpleasant experiences that feel alienated or strange to oneself or the environment. This abnormal experience can occur in normal people when they are tired, drug users and alcoholics, but it lasts for a short time; it can also be seen in organic damage to the brain and mental illness such as schizophrenia, depression, anxiety, as part of their clinical manifestations. This type of abnormal experience is a neurotic disorder only when it appears alone, persists, causes patient distress, or actively requests treatment.
