Mycosis
Diseases caused by fungi are collectively called mycosis. There are three types of human diseases caused by fungi, namely infectious diseases, allergic diseases and toxic diseases. The clinically mentioned mycosis mainly refers to fungal infections, including superficial mycosis and deep mycosis. Superficial fungi, which only invade the cuticle, hair, and nails of the epidermis, are called dermatophytosis, referred to as ringworm. Deep mycosis refers to the invasion of dermis, subcutaneous tissues, and even internal organs by fungi.
