Fungal pneumonia in children
Mycotic pneumonia is a lung infection caused by fungi and actinomycetes. After fungus invades the lungs, it can cause different levels of pneumonia. In severe cases, there is necrosis of the lung tissue, and it even spreads to other parts of the body through blood. It occupies the first place in all visceral fungal infections. Although it is relatively rare, it often occurs on the basis of many systemic diseases, which can make diagnosis and treatment difficult, so it has certain significance in clinical work. Fungal pneumonia is not a common disease. Due to the widespread use of broad-spectrum antibiotics, cytotoxic drugs, and adrenocortical hormones in the past 10 to 20 years, its incidence and clinical importance are increasing, and it is receiving increasing attention.
