Esophageal cardia mucosa tear syndrome

Severe nausea, vomiting, and other conditions that cause a sudden increase in intra-abdominal pressure, which cause tearing of the gastric cardia, the mucosa and submucosa of the distal esophagus, and massive bleeding are called esophageal and gastric cardia mucosa tear syndrome (Mallory-Weiss syndrome Sign).
