Coxsackie virus rash
Coxsackie virus eruption is caused by Coxsackie virus (CV). It was named after a polio outbreak in Cossack Village in the United States in 1948. Coxsackie virus is divided into two groups, A and B. Group A mainly causes skeletal muscle damage in newborn rats; group B can cause central nervous system and visceral damage.
