Brucella arthritis
Brucellosis is an acute infectious disease caused by brucella. Brucellar arthritis is part of brucellosis. Brucella is a small Gram-positive bacterium that is transmitted to humans from animals. Cattle and sheep are the main source of infection in China. Pathogens are found in the tissues, urine, emulsions, and fetuses of sick animals. Brucellosis can be an acute, self-limiting disease with joint pain lasting for several days, arthritis subsiding for several weeks, and no sequelae. It can also be a chronic, infectious disease. Need to be treated with antibiotics.
