Mental disorders caused by pesticide poisoning
Here we mainly introduce two commonly used pesticides: organophosphorus and organotin. Organophosphorus pesticides are currently the most widely used agricultural pesticides, with many types, strong insecticidal power, and broad insecticidal spectrum. They have been widely used in agricultural production, but they are more toxic to humans and animals. The cause of poisoning caused by organophosphorus is mainly due to failure to follow operating procedures during use, or due to imperfect protective equipment during production and use. The main way of invading the human body is through the respiratory tract and the skin, and those who enter from the digestive tract are mostly mistakenly taken or committed suicide. After organophosphorus enters the body, it inhibits the activity of cholinesterase in the body. Causes excessive excitability of cholinergic nerves, which leads to dysfunction of the nervous system. Mental and neurological symptoms and signs appear.
