Tinea capitis

Tinea capitis is a superficial fungal infection of the scalp and hair. It can be divided into three types of yellow ringworm, white ringworm and black ringworm according to the pathogens and clinical manifestations. Occurs in children, is highly contagious, and easily spread to each other in nurseries, kindergartens, primary schools and families. It is mainly transmitted through contaminated haircutting tools, and it can also be transmitted through contact with domestic animals such as cats and dogs with ringworm.
