Ectopic pancreas

Heterotopic Pancreas, also known as Aberrant Pancreas or Accessory Pancreas, is an isolated pancreas that grows outside the pancreas itself and has no anatomical or vascular connections with normal pancreatic tissue. Tissues are called ectopic pancreas. Belongs to a congenital malformation.
