Acute fatty skin sclerosis
Fat sclerosis was originally used to describe the thickening or hardening of the skin and subcutaneous tissue caused by venous hypertension or gravity syndrome in the lower leg. Acute fatty skin sclerosis was poorly understood in the past. The clinical manifestations are localized redness and heat in the skin and subcutaneous tissue, infiltration and induration with tenderness, but the whole body temperature is normal.
