Pediatric familial autonomic disorder
Familial dysautonomia syndrome is a rare familial autosomal recessive disease. The disease is mostly sensory loss and sympathetic dysfunction since birth, normal or low intelligence, and slow progress. A group of clinical symptoms mainly characterized by neurological dysfunction, especially autonomic nervous disorders. The disease is also known as Riley-Day syndrome, familial autonomic dysfunction, and central autonomic dysfunction syndrome.
