Hepatic encephalopathy
Hepatic encephalopathy (HE), also known as hepatic coma, is a comprehensive symptom of central nervous system dysfunction based on metabolic disorders caused by severe liver disease. Its main clinical manifestations are disturbance of consciousness, behavioral disorders and coma. There are acute and chronic encephalopathy.
