Nontuberculous mycobacterial arthritis
Mycobacterium is one of the main pathogens of chronic bone and joint infections. Non-tuberculous mycobacteria, mostly refers to mycobacteria in bird-type cells, mycobacterium marine fish, mycobacterium rabbit, mycobacterium kansas, and the like. They exist in soil and water. It is not yet possible to confirm the transmission of infections between humans. Clinical manifestations and X-ray characteristics are slow progress, sometimes staying still, and sometimes latent for many years. Due to the lack of signs, it takes an average of 19 months from the onset of symptoms to a clear diagnosis.
