Lip Descaling
Dry desquamative cheilitis: This type of cheilitis occurs in adolescent men and women. The lower lip is more than the upper lip, and there are concurrent lips. Mainly manifested in the diffuse red flushing of the lip red part, which is accompanied by dried pityriasis scales. Desquamation is its main feature. The lips are red and dry. After a layer of scales falls off, new scales form shortly. After repeated days, the lip tissue may become thicker or accompanied by chapped palate. Patients are conscious of localized dryness and burning discomfort, so they often purse their lips. Lip disease is slow and can last for months or even years.
