Uterine leiomyosarcoma
Uterine leiomyosarcoma is mainly derived from the smooth muscle cells of the myometrium of the uterus. It can exist alone or coexist with leiomyoma. It is the most common uterine sarcoma. Theoretically, uterine leiomyosarcoma can be divided into two types: primary and secondary. However, some scholars believe that it is difficult to distinguish between primary and secondary sarcoma from clinical and pathological examinations, and do not advocate that leiomyosarcoma be classified as primary and secondary.
