White line hernia
The rectus abdominis sheaths on both sides intertwine at the midline of the abdomen to form a ventral white line. Prolapse of the abdominal cavity via the abdominal white line is called hernia of white line. Is a rare abdominal wall hernia. A white line hernia that occurs in the umbilicus is also called an upper abdominal hernia, and a white line hernia that occurs in the umbilicus is called a lower abdominal hernia. Because the white line above the umbilicus is wide, and the white line below the umbilical cord is narrow and strong, white line hernias tend to occur on the umbilicus, and most of them occur between the umbilicus and the xiphoid process, especially the midpoint of the two.
