Pediatric atelectasis

Strictly speaking, atelectasis should point out that the lungs have never been filled with gas after birth, and the inflated lung tissue loses its original eaeration should be called pulmonary collapse. However, due to the habit used for many years, generalized atelectasis can include congenital atelectasis and acquired pulmonary atrophy. The term atelectasis is still used here. Atelectasis manifests as non-aeration in the alveoli, causing alveolar collapse.
