Adult chronic myelogenous leukemia
In 1845, CML characterized by splenomegaly, anemia, and neutropenia was recognized by clinicians. CML accounts for 15% to 20% of all leukemias. There are two types of CML in children: adult CML (ACML) and JMML. JMML is limited to children and has unique clinical, laboratory, and cytogenetic characteristics.
