Quetelet Index

The Quetelet Index is the "weight-height index" or "obesity index". An anthropometric composite indicator. Named after Quetole. It is widely used in anthropological research and anthropometric measurement and evaluation. It represents weight per 1 cm height as a relative weight or isometric weight to reflect the body's girth, width, and thickness, as well as the density of human tissue. It is an important composite index for evaluating the level and shape of the human body. The calculation formula is: weight / height × 1000, the weight measurement unit is kilogram (kg), and the height measurement unit is centimeter (cm).
