Acute cholangitis
The disease is based on biliary obstruction and bacterial infection. In acute cholangitis, if the bile duct obstruction is not resolved, the infection caused by bacteria in the bile duct is not controlled, and it gradually develops into acute obstructive suppurative cholangitis and threatens the life of the patient. The pathogenic bacteria are mainly Gram-negative bacteria, of which Escherichia coli and Klebsiella are the most common. Enterococci are common in Gram-positive infections. About 25% -30% have anaerobic infection.
