Vulvar neurofibroma
Vulvar neurofibroma is relatively rare. Neurofibroma is a schwannoma, an isolated mass, often located in the labia majora. Vulvar neurofibromas are often part of systemic multiple neurofibromatosis, with approximately 18% of neurofibromas involving the vulva. It grows slowly and usually occurs without pain after puberty. Rarely malignant, but significantly increased during pregnancy.
