Congenital esophageal stricture

Congenital esophagostenosis (CES) refers to the deformity that is inherent to the narrow structure of the esophagus wall after birth. It is very rare in the clinic, and more often than in childhood, and often requires surgery. Clinically, it should be distinguished from secondary esophageal stenosis.
