Hypertension cardiomyopathy
Hypertensive cardiomyopathy refers to abnormal changes in the left ventricular wall or left ventricular cavity caused by hypertension. In severe cases, it is a type of secondary cardiomyopathy that causes left ventricular hypertrophy, left ventricular enlargement with diastolic, and systolic heart dysfunction. Hypertensive cardiomyopathy is one of the main complications of hypertension.
