Leber hereditary optic neuropathy

Leber's hereditary optic neuropathy (LHON) is a mateRNAl inheritance or mitochondrial inheritance, caused by mitochondrial DNA 11778, 14484 or 3460 allele mutations. It is a common type of hereditary optic neuropathy.
