Pediatric sinus tachycardia
Sinus tachycardia refers to the increased beating frequency of the sinoatrial node. It is a normal compensatory response of the body. It often occurs when the baby has a fever, crying, exercise or emotional stress. The heart rate of the baby is more than 140 times per minute. 1 to 6 years old more than 120 times per minute, 6 years old and more than 100 times per minute, P wave is sinus, sinus tachycardia.
