Pharyngeal keratosis
Keratosis of pharynx is abnormal keratosis of pharyngeal lymphoid tissues, which mostly occurs in palatine tonsils and tongue tonsils. Keratosis in other parts of the pharynx are rare. The disease mostly occurs in young people before the age of 30. The etiology is unknown, and it was previously thought to be related to ciliary fungus infection, poor oral hygiene, and chronic inflammation of the sinuses and pharyngeal lymphoid tissues.
