Bileless stool
Bile is a digestive fluid that emulsifies fats but does not contain digestive enzymes. Bile-free stools are stools that do not contain bile or bile pigments. Alpha-1 antitrypsin-deficient liver disease inherited alpha1-antitrypsin-deficient neonates develop cholestatic jaundice within 1 month after birth, and the children gain weight slowly, lethargy, irritability, and bile-free stool.
