Lipidoid deposition
Lipoid proteinosis is also called Urbach-Wiethe disease. Hyalinosis cutis et mucosae is a rare genetic disease that often occurs in infants, mainly in the skin, mucous membranes or internal organs. The presence of amorphous eosinophilic transparent material is clinically characterized by thickened eyelids, yellow tumor-like plaques on the elbows and knees, and hoarseness.
