Skin amoebiasis

Amebae is a unicellular protozoan belonging to the phylum Protozoa, which has the characteristics of lethality and reproduction by dichotomy. Entamoeba histolytica can cause intestinal amoebiasis, and its parenteral complications can invade the skin and cause skin amoebiasis (Amebiasis Cutis). Common in the perineum and perianal skin, ulcers and granulomas are formed.
