Mastitis
Mastitis refers to a purulent infection of the breast. Acute mastitis is a common disease during the puerperium and is one of the causes of postpartum fever. It is most common in breastfeeding women, especially first-time women. Lactation can occur at any time, and the onset of breastfeeding is most common. Chronic mastitis is characterized by slow onset, long course of disease, difficult to heal, and endures.
