Burn
Burns generally refer to tissue damage caused by thermal forces (including hydrothermal fluids, steam, high-temperature gases, flames, electrical energy, chemicals, radiation, hot metallic liquids or solids, etc.). It mainly refers to damage to the skin and / or mucous membranes. In severe cases, it can also damage the underlying tissues. There are also thermal injuries caused by hydrothermal fluid and steam are called scalds, and those caused by flames and currents are called burns.
